Ecru-lite is a financial services company with a difference. Our primary motivation is giving members of the public value for money and helping them save money. (IWe are completely opposed to exploitative bank charging. Our direct debit guarantee system is unique to the banking industry. We give consumers and businesses a supporting hand when managing their finances. We operate a limited profitability business model, that means we are not in business to make as much money as we can but simply to provide an effective service as efficiently as possible and meet our overheads. Profits beyond this will be reinvested in the business, and paid to a range of good causes including charities where applicable.
Our primary objective is organic ethical banking by which we mean, banking which is tailered to meet the needs of the public as those needs change; we will only use funds at our disposal for ethical purposes. Our Philosopy is simple, restoring an overarching principle of fairness and proportionality to banking services in the UK.
Ecrulite Financial Services is not currently regulated by the FSA. But amidst concerns about the nature of banking regulation leading up to the global financial collaspe, we do not see this ,necessarily, as a disadvantage. Ecrulite is operated through the Co-operative Bank which is regulated by the FSA and is an ethical financial instituation. Please note since Ecrulite is a fiction it is in no way connected with the
